Packing List

I keep this packing list handy so I don’t have to scramble last minute to remember everything I might need. Hope you find this list helpful!

First off, I keep a massive toiletry bag always packed. I never take anything out of here, so these are duplicates (often in smaller or disposable versions) of what I have at home for daily use. Having this always packed saves a lot of time.

I also keep a carry on bag always packed – for the same reason: saves time and I don’t have to worry about forgetting my essentials.

Toiletry Bag (always stays packed)

Carry On Bag (always stays packed)

  • Travel pillow (wash after each trip)
  • Travel blanket (wash after each trip)
  • Hammock foot rest
  • Afrin (my son’s ears hurt on take off/landing, so we use this – no more pain!)
  • Gum
  • Headphones
  • Headphones splitter (in case we want to watch something together on a longer flight)
  • Power converter (for international travel)
  • Solar power bank
  • Masks

Suitcase (all the things that go in here)

  • Laptop and charger
  • Hat (baseball, fashion, other)
  • Pajamas
  • Underwear
  • Bras
  • Jewelry
  • Lounge clothes
  • Daily clothes
  • Swimsuit
  • Shoes
    • Keep all your shoes in travel shoe bags so their dirty soles don’t touch everything
  • Extra Invisalign (in case my son’s breaks or gets lost)
  • Retainer
  • Makeup
  • Glasses
  • Sunglasses
  • Phone (duh)
  • Wallet/passport (if needed)

Other (might bring if feelin’ it or the situation calls for it)

  • Raincoat/umbrella
  • Travel speaker
  • Sketching/art supplies
  • Apple Watch/charger
  • Football
  • Travel fan (if going to be outside somewhere hot)
  • Water socks/snorkel masks/goggles
  • Beach bag
  • Hiking supplies (shoes, backpack, camel back, etc.)
  • Folding chair
  • Blanket (either for keeping warm or for picnic)

If the dog is going…

  • K9 sack
  • Collar
  • Harness
  • Leash
  • Food
  • Treats
  • Pee pads
  • Poop bags
  • Wipes
  • Life vest (if going around water)
  • Travel water bottle
  • Bowls for water and food
